After matching no fewer than five times on various dating apps over several years—and never actually starting a conversation—Steve finally made the first move after their most recent match on Tinder. While chatting about weekend plans, Steve casually mentioned he was heading to a Yankee game. Danielle, never one to shy away from an opportunity, boldly asked, “Is that an invite?” Steve, with a laugh, explained he was going with a buddy but promised to take her to the next home game in a couple weeks—if she didn't get sick of him by then, declaring that the bleachers at Yankee Stadium would be "a hell of a first date." They decided to grab dinner before the game as a "safer" first date, just in case things didn’t pan out. Spoiler alert: it was a match made in heaven. Dinner went so well that the Yankee game the following weekend became a “hell of a second date.” And the rest, as they say, is history. 💕
